Josef Taušer (host of the conference)

tauser_webJosef Taušer graduated in International Trade at Faculty of International Relations, University of Economics, Prague. Since 2003 he works at the Department of International Trade. Currently, he is guarantor of the Master’s degree in International Trade and Deputy Head of the Department. In 2008 he was appointed associate professor and in 2012-2013 he served as vice-dean for science and as legal representative of the dean. Josef Taušer regularly lectures at prestigious universities in France (AUDENCIA School of Management, Nantes, Lyon IAE) and Austria (WU Wien), where he teaches international financial management, in English and German.

Josef Taušer is respected researcher in Economics. He is author of six papers in journals with impact factor, co-author of 3 books, and of another 17 peer-reviewed articles. He participated in various international and national scientific projects and is a member of the executive boards 5 academic journals. Josef is also member of the Board at the Academy of Business, CEE Chapter (AIB-CEE).


Petra Průšová

pprusovaPetra leads the Czech team both KMB and KTNS and also local KMB team in Hungary. Acts as a Regional CEO for CEE. She is responsible  for developing Kantar Insight branches in 8 countries and also responsible for business development new countries and opportunities in CEE region.    Petra stood at the foundation of Millward Brown in Czech Republic during of summer 1999 and leads the office since. She has total market research experince 30+ years. During her career, she was responsible for couple of big international accounts as Beiersdorf, Mondeley, Unilever, TCCC, Raiffeisen, Diageo, SAB. She also acted in different regional roles within Europe (and Israel). She is actively participates in a number of conferences, sessions in several expert juries e.g. were part of different marketing jury (as EFFIE) and other local associations.   Petra received her degree in statistics. In 1992 she started to lecture sociology at the Charles University in Prague (FFUK sociology) and later she started to lecture also market research at Prague School of Economics.    She is active as a coach (mentoring). She was awarded among TOP25 women of CZ bussiness.

Roland T. Rust

Contact person: Amy Taylor, Office of Marketing Communications.Roland is Distinguished University Professor, David Bruce Smith Chair in Marketing, and Executive Director of the Center for Excellence in Service at the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland. He is Visiting Chair in Marketing Research at Erasmus University (Netherlands) and International Research Fellow of Oxford’s Centre for Corporate Reputation (UK).  His lifetime achievement honors include the AMA Irwin McGraw-Hill Distinguished Marketing Educator Award, the  EMAC Distinguished Marketing Scholar Award, Fellow of the INFORMS Society for Marketing Science, the Paul D. Converse Award, the AMS Distinguished Marketing Educator Award, as well as the top career honors in service marketing, marketing research, marketing strategy, advertising, and statistics, and honorary doctorates in economics from the University of Neuchatel (Switzerland) and the Norwegian School of Economics (Norway).  He was an inaugural AMA Fellow, and an inaugural honoree in AMA’s Marketing Legends video series.  He has won numerous best article and best book awards.  He served as Editor of the Journal of Marketing, founded the annual Frontiers in Service Conference, and was founding Editor of the Journal of Service Research.   He is currently Editor of the International Journal of Research in Marketing (IJRM).

Luk Warlop (EMAC President)

200x200-lukLuk Warlop obtained a master degree in (organizational) psychology (1986) and an MBA (1988) at the KU Leuven, and a PhD in marketing (1995) at the University of Florida.  He studies individual consumer decision making and the social psychology of consumer behavior.  His research has been published in marketing, psychology, management accounting, and management science.  His work has been recognized with a best paper award and an long term impact award at the International Journal of Research in Marketing (IJRM), and with an IgNobel Prize.  He is currently Senior Editor at IJRM and the president-elect of the European Marketing Academy (2018-2020).
